Booking A Sleepover

It is the responsibility of the customer to provide all the necessary information required at the time of booking and to ensure that this is true and correct. This includes, but is not limited to, informing Tiny Tent Soirées of where the equipment will be installed, including the floor level, and the proximity to parking. Should Tiny Tent Soirées be required to carry the equipment up or down steps, or use an elevator,  the customer must inform Tiny Tent Soirées at the time of booking. This will enable Tiny Tent Soirées to plan the delivery and/or delivery and installation of the rented equipment.​

• Where the customer has withheld relevant information from Tiny Tent Soirées, which affects the delivery of the equipment, Tiny Tent Soirées reserves the right to refuse the delivery and/or delivery and installation.
   

Rental

• It is the responsibility of the customer renting the equipment  to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to avoid injury or prevent damage to the rented equipment.​

• It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all of the equipment maintains its original condition for collection on the agreed upon date and time of pick up. Any damage or lost items will be charged to the customer. The customer has the right to look at equipment before we leave and let us know of any damages prior to our departure. The customer will not be responsible for any damage caused during the installation by an employee of Tiny Tent Soirées.

• At the time of booking: Delivery, set up and pick up times will be agreed upon. Penalty fees may apply if the agreed upon times need to be changed. 

• The customer or an appointed adult must be present during delivery, set up and tear down.  A tiny Tent Soirées employee will not enter an event location without the customer or an appointed adult present. 
   

 Pricing and Payments​

• All prices are subject to change without notice, however prices quoted at the time of booking will be honoured.

• $100 deposit required upon booking.

• The full balance of an invoice is due 48 hours prior to delivery.  NO EXCEPTION. Payments not made at this time will result in the cancellation of your event with no exception.  We will email you to inform you of the cancellation.
   

 Cancellations

• Tiny Tent Soirées requires 48 hours notice prior to the date of the Soirée for cancellations/ booking amendments. Let’s work together to rebook your Soirée for a later date!

• If a customer would like to change the date, time or theme of a Soirée, please contact Tiny Tent Soirées asap.  If possible, Tiny Tent Soirées will try to accommodate your request.

• $100 Booking deposits is non-refundable. 
   

 Equipment

• All rented equipment remains the property of Tiny Tent Soirées at all times. 

• Any damages, strong odors or stains to tents, bedding or any other rented equipment will result in replacement of the lost or damaged item. The customer is responsible for the cost to replace lost, stolen or damaged items. Please see the Replacement Cost List included in your Soirée gear or ask for a list to be emailed to you.

• Any damage to equipment caused by neglect, misuse, loss or failure to follow instructions provided, will deem the customer liable for full repair or replacement costs in addition to any loss of business. The customer will be invoiced for any and all items that will need to be replaced. 

• Tiny Tent Soirées reserves the right to substitute rented equipment with that of a similar value and type without notice in the event of previous loss or damage.

• Equipment shall be used only for the intended rented purposes.  Climbing or hanging on to the tents is dangerous and MUST NOT be allowed.

• It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure duty of care and supervise children at all times with the rented equipment. 

• Soirée Rentals are for people age 5 and over. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that any children are supervised at all times whilst using the equipment. Children under the age of 5 must not be left overnight in the rented equipment unsupervised. 

• Soirée rentals are for smoke free environments only.  Smoking is strictly prohibited due to it being a fire hazard and to prevent cigarette smoke odor on the tents and equipment. If this is ignored and the equipment is returned having been in a smoke environment, Tiny Tent Soirées will invoice the customer  a cleaning and/or replacement charge invoice.  The customer will have a week from the invoice issue date to pay for the damages.

• All shoes, and sharp objects should be removed prior to use of the equipment.

• Tiny Tent Soirées asks the customer to refrain from allowing pets on or in any of the equipment. Should the equipment require extensive cleaning due to pet hair, Tiny Tent Soirées will invoice the customer a cleaning or replacement charge invoice. The customer has one week from the date issued on the invoice to pay for damages. 

• To avoid stains that we cannot remove, Tiny Tent Soirées ask the following: 

  • Any nail polish recently applied must be completely dry before entering the equipment. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure this. 

  • No food or drink is to be consumed on or near the equipment, Water is ok!

  • If children are wearing any makeup, we ask that this is fully removed before snuggling up in bed.

  • No pens, paints, .markers, or slime are to be used in or around the equipment
     

 Delivery, Installation, Site locations, Facilities and Conduct​

• All equipment is delivered, and/or delivered, assembled and styled by Tiny Tent Soirées.

• Tiny Tent Soirées will ensure that all equipment is safe and in good working order prior to delivery and/or delivery and installation at the event.

• In the event of traffic, inclement weather or any other uncontrollable circumstances preventing Tiny Tent Soirées from delivering the rented equipment at the agreed upon set up time, Tiny Tent Soirees will contact the customer to inform them asap.  An ETA will be given to the customer.  Thank you for understanding!

• It is the responsibility of the customer to check that they have adequate room for the required tents and suitable access and parking for delivery and/or delivery and installation of the equipment. 

• The equipment must be set-up in an indoor location only. Should the customer  wish to hold the party upstairs, basement or in an external building, they should inform Tiny Tent Soirées at the time of booking, with all the relevant information including but not limited to the floor level and the proximity to available parking for Tiny Tent Soirées. The Customer must ensure that the party area is clean, safe and ready prior to delivery and/or delivery and installation of the equipment. If the area is not ready for installation, Tiny Tent Soirées reserves the right to cancel your Soirée. The customer must ensure that the space is clean and cleared prior to our arrival. Tiny Tent Soirées will not be responsible for moving the customer’s furniture or belongings in order to make room for the equipment.

• Tiny Tent Soirées reserves the right to refuse delivery and installation should the venue or site be deemed unsuitable. In this case, a full refund will be given to the customer and your Soirée rental will be promptly canceled.  

• Once the equipment has been installed do not  move or tamper with any of the equipment.

• All equipment must remain inside the home at all times.

• It will take between 60 - 120 minutes for Tiny Tent Soirées to install the rental equipment. We ask that during the installation, the area is kept free of distractions and pets, so as to not delay the installation process. 

• Tiny Tent Soirées reserves the right to remove equipment should they feel that the customers conduct or use of the equipment be dangerous to themselves, anyone using the equipment or the safety of the rented equipment. In all such cases, the equipment will be removed and no refunds will be given. 

• At no time will any level of abuse be tolerated towards Tiny Tent Soirées’ employees.

• Tiny Tent Soirées will return on the agreed upon date and time, to pick up and/or pick up, dismantle and remove the rented equipment.   A Tiny Tent Soirées employee will examine the tents and items prior to breakdown.
  
   

Release of Liability, Assumptions of Risk & Claims and Indemnity Agreement
In exchange for Tiny Tent Soirées allowing me, my child or a child under my supervision to use any of our products, I agree as follows:

I agree that I am responsible for myself and all children under my supervision during the use of Tiny Tent Soirées rentals and/or purchased items. I agree that I have notified all parents and/or legal guardians of the children that are under my supervision, of the potential risks associated in the use of Tiny Tent Soirées rentals.

I understand that leaving battery operated lights on may increase the chance of a fire.  I agree to not leave the lights unattended and turn off all lights when myself and the children I am supervising go to sleep or leave the room.

I voluntarily accept and assume all the risks associated with the use of Tiny Tent Soirées rentals and/or purchased items and I choose to use and allow myself and children under my supervision to use the rentals and/or purchased items despite possible risk. 

I agree that if myself, my child or a child under my supervision is injured during the use or misuse of Tiny Tent Soirées rentals and/or purchased items I will accept all responsibility and liability for such injuries.

I understand that Tiny Tent Soirées rentals and/or purchased items are not for pets or animals.  I am responsible for keeping animals and pets away from, and off all the equipment.  I understand there is a risk of injury to, or death of a pet or animal if pets or animals are near to or on the equipment.    I accept full responsibility if a pet or animal is injured or dies as a result of it being near, on or in Tiny Tent Soirées rentals and/or purchased items.

I also agree to hold harmless and indemnify Tiny Tent Soirées from any and all liability for any damage, expense, injury or death caused to any third party as a result of my or my child’s or a child under my supervisions’ use or misuse of Tiny Tent Soirées’ rentals and/or purchased items from Tiny Tent Soirées

I agree to give up my right to sue Tiny Tent Soirées for any damage, expense, physical or emotional injury, illness, paralysis, or death that I or my family or a child under my supervision or estate may suffer as a result of my use of Tiny Tent Soirées rentals and/or purchased items, due to any cause whatsoever, including Tiny Tent Soirées negligence, the failure to warn or protect me from risks, breach of contract, breach of any other duty of care.  I agree to waive any and all claims that I have or may have in the future against Tiny Tent Soirées, and to release Tiny Tent Soirées from any and all liability for any damage, expense, injury, or death.

I agree that if any portion of this Agreement is found to be void, unenforceable, or inapplicable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.  I will not sue Tiny Tent Soirees.

I confirm that I have read and have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire agreement, have understood the terms of this agreement, and agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement.

Privacy Policy

What do we collect?

If you fill in a Contact Us form on our website, message us on Instagram or Facebook or fill out a Covid-19 Screening Form,  we will temporarily collect the following information:

•  Your name

•  Contact information including email address

•  Other information relevant to your Soiree request
   

Any messages you send to us and we do not act upon or that  leads to a business relationship with us will be deleted after 30 days.
 

Pictures, images and videos:

Tiny Tent Soirées will ask a customer to send/provide pictures, images and/or videos of their Contactless Delivery and DIY Set-Up Soirées.  Tiny Tent Soirées will ask the customer if we may use the provided pictures, images and/or videos on our Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and webpages.  It is the customer’s responsibility to acquire permission from a guest’s parent/guardian to allow Tiny Tent Soirées to use the images, pictures and/or videos provided to Tiny Tent Soirées by the customer.  If the customer or a parent/guardian of a Soirée guest wishes Tiny Tent Soirées to remove an image, picture or video from our website or social media platforms, please contact us asap. Tiny Tent Soirées will remove the image, picture or video immediately.  
 

What do we do with the information you give Tiny Tent Soirée?

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with safe and better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

         -  Contacting you in regards to your Soirée request
        -  We may use the information to improve our products and services and relationship with you as a customer
        -  We may contact you by email, phone, Instagram or Facebook Messenger prior to your Soirée
        -  Covid-19 contact tracing for yours and our safety
 

After your Soirée is completed, we will properly erase your personal information from our records.
 

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure.  Your information will not be shared with any other person or business or entity.  In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable managerial procedures to safeguard and secure your information we collect online.

Controlling your information

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to a third party.  Your information WILL NOT be used to contact you on future promotions or offerings. You may request details of your personal information which we may hold about you under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  If you would like a copy of the information held on you, please email us.  If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible.  We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
